Washington DC: USINPAC issued the following statement on the passing of former Finance Minister and BJP leader Arun Jaitley:
“Every now and then a great leader appears on the world stage, and Shri Arun Jaitley was among the greats,” said Sanjay Puri, Chairman of USINPAC. “Shri Jaitley was insightful, treasured and a leader’s leader. Having accompanied him to meetings with Washington’s top leaders, I considered him a profound mentor with an unparalleled ability to bring about change for and on behalf of India and Indian Americans. He was brilliant in every setting and just had a way of surmounting the insurmountable. He was everything a public servant should be. Shri Jaitley will be remembered for everything that is good about India. On behalf of USINPAC, I express our deepest condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. We will miss his friendship, wisdom and guidance.”
