Indian-Americans: Education Levels

The Indian-American community is one of the most highly educated groups in the United States.

  • According to Pew Research in 2015, 72% of Indian Americans had a bachelor’s degree or higher academic qualification.
  • 32% of Indian Americans, aged over 25, held a bachelor’s degree and 40% had a postgraduate degree compared to 19% of bachelor’s degree attainment and 11% postgraduate degree attainment among the American population in general.
