Partner Organizations

USINPAC partners with other politically active Indian-American organizations to impact policies on issues concerning the Indian American Community.

We do this through our National Outreach Program, an ambitious undertaking by USINPAC to coordinate the efforts of Indian-American organizations and individuals. It is vital that we have a unified stand to impact issues facing the community.

Objective
  • Provide a national platform for the local leaders and organizations and give them the ability to leverage their activities and coordinate their efforts with like-minded people in our community around the country.
  • Provide the grass-root and local support for USINPAC’s national agenda.
  • Provide various organizations and politically active individuals in the Indian American community with a strong Washington D.C. presence.
Benefits of collaborating with USINPAC
  • USINPAC will assist NOP leadership with scheduling Washington law makers to speak at NOP events.
  • NOP’s leadership and membership will receive invitation to USINPAC’s Legislative Briefings with Members of Congress on Capitol Hill.
  • NOP’s leadership and membership will receive invitation via USINPAC to serve as expert witness at Congressional Hearings:
    • USINPAC “Experts Directory” to be made available to Members of Congress, particularly Committee Chairs for use during Hearing scheduling process;
    • Issue Focus: Small Business; US-India Trade; HIV/Aids funding for India; Immigration; terrorism and other U.S. foreign policy concerning South Asia;
    • NOP leadership and members will be invited by USINPAC to send resume and interest letter to be listed in the USINPAC “Experts Directory”;
    • USINPAC will also submit “Experts Directory” to major media outlets for expert commentary of breaking news or policy issues NOP’s membership will receive announcements of special event.
  • USINPAC will provide issue-specific briefing papers upon request by the NOP’s Leadership.
  • USINPAC may serve as a co-sponsor and have booth at grass-root events such as parades or fairs, annual conventions, conferences or political events organized by NOP.
  • Invitation to USINPAC’s/NOP Annual Gala with all the important leaders and members of the community. Invitation to the Meet and Greet events with local law makers in your state.
How you can help USINPAC?
  • Send USINPAC Monthly Newsletter and E-mail Alert of Breaking News to your Membership database.
  • Invite USINPAC to provide briefings at your legislative conferences and annual conferences.
  • Assist USINPAC in approaching and lobbying local members of Congress or Senate whenever important key issues arise.
  • Provide input on policy issues to USINPAC.
  • To strengthen and/or ensure USINPAC’s political presence in your area.
  • Form a Regional Leadership Council modeled after USINPAC’s National Leadership Council; promote and expand grassroots membership in your area.
