“I look forward to discussing progress in the US-India partnership and Strategic Dialogue, developments in the Middle East and South Asia, the challenge of a rising China, and prospects for meaningful change in Burma.  I also will raise the Iran issue, and the need for responsible nations to work together to further isolate and pressure the dangerous extremists in Tehran.”

Mr. Sanjay Puri, Chairman, USINPAC while indicating the remarks as a progressive and positive one said, “The US-India relationship has been looked upon by many as the alliance of the century. Rep. Ros-Lehtinen’s comments highlight why there is a need for the two great nations to work together.”
