Although DEFTIAC is being established initially under an AUSIB umbrella, it will be a stand-alone entity. The DEFTIAC initiative focuses outreach on Defense Technology Cooperation complementing AUSIB’s efforts to promote US-India commerce across all sectors. DEFTIAC and AUSIB mutually seek to promote US-India trade across the full spectrum and scope of business opportunities.  AUSIB has also built strong ties with the Indian-American business community in the US. Setting up of DEFTIAC is to enable the latter to enhance further trade opportunities.
