For Youth
Indian American youth are the future of our community and the leaders of tomorrow. It is critical that they be aware of the issues facing the Indian American community and be actively involved with USINPAC to impact legislation on issues of concern to them. The USINPAC Youth Committee is a group of passionate and motivated young Indian Americans determined to make this happen.
Mission
- To increase awareness among the Indian American youth of issues concerning the Indian American community
- To actively engage the Indian American youth in USINPAC to impact policies on issues concerning the Indian American community
Objectives
To achieve its mission, the USINPAC Youth Committee has established the following objectives:
- To create a platform that enables Indian American youth to engage in and impact the political process
- To increase USINPAC membership by recruiting youth
- To increase USINPAC political contributions by using youth for fundraising
- To increase political activism by encouraging youth to vote and to pursue opportunities in the political arena
Strategy
The USINPAC Youth Committee will primarily focus on two key items to accomplish its objectives:
- Involve Indian American graduate and undergraduate college students by establishing active USINPAC Campus Committees, under the umbrella of the USINPAC Youth Committee, on the campuses of major colleges and universities across the US
- Involve Indian American young professionals in the activities of USINPAC by reaching out to various Indian American young professional organizations across the US

Membership Benefits for Exceptional Youth Committee Members
The USINPAC Youth Committee offers the following exclusive benefits only to a select few youth members who have made an exceptional contribution to the USINPAC Youth Committee.
- Opportunity to attend a high profile "Breakfast on the Hill" event with key Congressional leaders.
- Opportunity to pursue an internship/assignment on the Capitol Hill
Aspiring youth members should send the following to youth@usinpac.com:
- A brief essay, describing in less than 250 words, why you should be a) invited to a USINPAC event on the Capitol Hill such as "Breakfast on the Hill" or b) considered for an internship/assignment on the Capitol Hill
- A one-page resume highlighting your qualifications and experience
