Sanjay Puri, USINPAC Chairman, congratulated Nikki Haley and said, “Nikki Haley’s victory is not just a historic moment for Indian-Americans, but also for South Carolina, as it elects its first woman Governor to office. Haley has worked hard as a state legislator to fight wasteful spending, create jobs and increase the overall quality of life for the people of South Carolina. I am sure she will also prove to be an exemplary Governor.”
