|Washington, DC. Members of the U.S.-India Political Action Committee (USINPAC) express their heartfelt condolences to the people of Pakistan and the family of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto at this very difficult time. Bhutto was a victim of political violence and militant extremism, says Michael Taylor, USINPAC's Director of Government Affairs.
Mr. Taylor goes on to say, Pakistan has been in the forefront of the U.S.-led war against terror. The escalation of violence in Pakistan is of major concern to the Indian-American community and USINPAC will remain watchful of the actions taken by our government in this matter.
USINPAC is the political voice of 2.5 million Indian-Americans. USINPAC provides bipartisan support to candidates for federal, state and local office who support the issues that are important to the Indian-American community. For more information, go to www.usinpac.com.
