Reception will honor decade long support for US-India Relations
Washington, DC: In the backdrop of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s June visit to Washington DC, USINPAC is organizing a reception to celebrate and recognize the tireless efforts of Indian Americans and friends of India who have contributed towards taking US-India bilateral relations to a new and dynamic phase that promises increased collaboration in the field of economy, energy, environment, defense and security.
Indian Prime Minister Modi’s US visit is scheduled on June 7th and 8th. The visit will include a flurry of high profile exchanges; meeting President Obama at the White House, addressing a joint session of the Congress, meetings with leaders of the Democrat and Republican parties, public reception and lunch with House Speaker Paul Ryan and other law makers.
The two day visit will be marked with heightened Indo-US bonhomie. It is a testament to the tremendous ground work done by many Indian American groups, including the Congressional India Caucus that has been pivotal in consolidating bipartisan support in bringing US-India relations to the forefront.
