USINPAC Hosts Visiting Indian Education Experts in Washington DC

Washington, DC: With the long-term objective of improving vocational education and skills development in India, USINPAC hosted leaders of education.

 

The visiting education and industry experts from India include Ms. Bharaty Arun Subbu Rangan, Assistant Professor of Management Studies, Pondicherry University Community College, Mr. Nikhil Gala, Chairperson, Corporate Relations and Placements, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies University, Mr. Avanish Kumar, Senior Program Leader, GMR Varalakshmi Foundation, Mr. Shashi Chandra Sharma, Director, Acropolis Technical Campus and Ms. Soya Thomas, Program Manager, Gender Self Learning Program, State Poverty Eradication Mission, Kerala.

 

The Indian experts will engage with U.S. companies in the automotive, hospitality, construction, agriculture, and healthcare sectors,  assist in exploring and cooperating relationships between industry and vocational education institutions, closely examine curriculum development for community college and vocational/technical schools  and learn more about cooperative efforts between vocational schools and local workforce development.

 

USINPAC welcomed the visitors from India by hosting a meeting for them at Thompson Coburn LLP’s offices in Washington DC.

 

Mr. Sanjay Puri, encouraged the visiting experts to fully engage in this opportunity to establish and nurture the skill development and education sector in India saying, “India’s biggest asset is its youth, which is hungry for knowledge and technical skills, we can fully harness this potential by cooperating and learning from the success of the US technological experience.”
