TOPIC: US Looks on the Bright Side of H-1Bs

US Looks on the Bright Side of H-1Bs 6 years 8 months ago #92

According to a report issued by the National Foundation for American Policy, visa fees amounting to nearly $3 billion paid by employers goes into science and math scholarships as well as anti-fraudulent activities and U.S. worker training.
The group supports visa programs and policies facilitating the entry of foreign workers in U.S. from the H-1B visa category.
Even as contenders assert that the H-1B visas take away jobs from Americans, businesses deem H-1B visas are instrumental in bringing the required skill set, otherwise not available within the US. H-1Bs have been snubbed alleging that they offer employers the liberty of replacing U.S. workers with cheaper foreign employees.
