Yet two more Indian–Americans have joined the league of Obama’s administration. Whilst the U.S. President has appointed Deepa Gupta as a member of National Council on the Arts, Nisha Desai Biswal who is presently working as an Assistant Administrator for Asia at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) will also be serving on the Congressional-Executive Commission on China. Gupta is currently a Programme Officer for Media, Culture and Special Initiatives at the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation in Chicago. Congratulations to both of you!
