After retired U.S. joint chiefs of staff Mike Mullen made his views on Pakistan known which triggered a huge debate world wide, now its the U.S. President Barack Obama who has come down hard on Pakistan military. While acknowledging Pakistan's co-operation with the U.S. so far, he criticized the Pakistan military for forging ties with the terrorist groups. According to Obama, Pakistan is insecure with the idea of an independent and developing Afghanistan for it would be friend with India, Pakistan's assumed mortal enemy. Will these remarks by the President Obama permanantly damage already deteriorating US-Pak relations?
