David Faria has over 19 years of industry experience in transportation and technology integration. He has a Ph.D. in Transportation Engineering and an MBA in Information Systems. His knowledge and passion for both transportation and technology have enabled him to specialize in the use of technology to improve the efficiencies and effectiveness of transportation systems. He has also played a role in academia, where he taught both graduate and undergraduate courses in transportation engineering. He serves on a number of national panels on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). He is the founder and CEO of Technology Solution Providers, an integration company that improves the effectiveness of transportation systems. His current interests include ITS utilization and transit-based custom software development.
Personal
David Faria was born in Bangalore, India. He studied at St. Joseph’s Boys School and then went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in Traffic and Transportation Engineering from Bangalore University. His interests include community service and playing jazz piano. David is married to Legia and has two children, Marielena (15) and Peter (11).
