Ravi Sandill is the Judge for the County District Court of the 127th District in Texas. Before being appointed, he was an associate attorney with Steele Strum, PLLC in Houston, where he focused primarily on employment, commercial, appellate, and covenant-not-to-compete litigation. Prior to joining Steele Strum, he practiced with several other Hosuton firms and served as a briefing attorney to Justice Murry Cohen of the Texas First Court of Appeals. He serves on the Board of Trustees and the Advocacy Committee of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society and as a member of both the American and Houston Bar Associations.
Judge Sandill is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and the University Of Houston Law Center. He worked for Senator John Kerry and served in the Clinton Administration as a member of the President’s and the First Lady’s Advance Teams. He also interned for the White House’s Council of Economic Advisors.
Judge Sandill is married to Kelly Spragins Sandill, an attorney with Andrews Kurth, LLP. They live in Houston with their son, Asher.
