USINPAC’s delegations to India have generated considerable interest in the United States and India. We exist to serve the interests of our members, many of who are entrepreneurs and professionals in the US with close ties to India and a desire
to invest in its burgeoning economy. USINPAC’s role is primarily that of facilitator and cheerleader. USINPAC delegations to India have always drawn much interest in India. We arrange productive meetings and networking sessions with the highest levels of political and business leadership in India. We make every effort to provide enormous value for our Leadership Committee members.
As part of our ongoing efforts, there will be two business delegations in the first half of 2008 for members of the USINPAC Leadership Committee to visit India and explore avenues for increased investment and trade.
Delegation specifics: The delegation in April will visit Mumbai, India’s commercial center, for high level talks with leaders of corporate India. Meetings will focus upon IT, BPO, infrastructure, real estate, investment banking and pharmaceutical industries. A subsequent delegation in June will visit Bangalore, the heart of India’s IT, BPO, and pharmaceutical industries.
The meetings (April 2008, Mumbai) so far planned for USINPAC delegates include those with Warburg Pincus India, WNS Global Services, Hexaware Technologies, Tata Consultancy Services, Jones Lang Lasalle Meghraj, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance (IPA), Shapoorji Pallonji. Please note that additional meetings with business leaders are being planned in addition to the above schedule. Confirmed attendees will be updated on a regular basis.
USINPAC is working closely with business leaders in India and the US to help strengthen economic relations between the two countries. The USINPAC Leadership Council typically holds a series of meetings with business leaders in targeted sectors to explore avenues for investment, business process solutions, and increased trade, among others. Areas of focus include information technology, BPO, pharmaceuticals, real estate, investment banking, and small industries. Members of USINPAC’s Leadership Committee may attend one or both of Business Delegations in early 2008. The meetings listed above may change over time depending on the convenience of the business leaders we are scheduled to meet.
